845S IGBT Drive-Compatible Optical Incremental Encoders
Today's Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) drive technologies generate electrical noise that can interfere with encoder/drive feedback systems. To address this issue, Rockwell Automation has designed the new 845S encoder, which provides reliable feedback for 1336 FORCE™ and PowerFlex™ 700S adjustable frequency AC drives. |

845G Encoders with Binary-Encoded Decimal Output
The Bulletin 845G single-turn absolute encoder digitizes shaft position for reliable readouts under a wide range of harsh conditions. These popular models have been enhanced to include new or improved features, including: Binary coded decimal output option, Maximum resolution increased from 2,048 to 32,768 counts per revolution. |

Bulletin 842A Encoder
The Bulletin 842A Encoder is a 24-bit absolute multi-turn shaft encoder. It can provide up to a maximum of 8,192 pulses per turn or a maximum of 8,192 turns. Unlike most absolute encoders which use parallel output wiring, the Bulletin 842A uses a technology called –Synchronous Serial Interface” or SSI to provide 24-bit resolution over just 5 wires. Data can be provided in either Gray Code or natural binary formats. |

Bulletin 844A and 844B Hollow-Shaft Encoder
The new Bulletin 844A & 844B Incremental Encoders offer the advantages of hollow-shaft mounting: an Integral Flex Mount which eliminates the need for separate flexible couplings and mounting plates. Bulletin 844B Encoders are hollow through-shaft allowing additional accessories to be mounted to the same shaft. Both 844A & 844B Encoders come standard with channels A, B & Z and differential line driver (DLD) outputs. Single ended outputs are also supported at no additional charge. Shaft sizes up to 1/2” in diameter are supported. Bulletin 844A & 844B Encoders offer 42 resolution options from 10-2500 PPR. |

845G Absolute Encoder
These single-turn, parallel gray code output encoders eliminate the need to latch the output signals prior to reading. Parallel format of the output signal minimizes the software needed to interpret the position data as compared to serial format. |

845H High Performance Industrial Incremental Encoder
Providing code disk resolutions of up to 5,000 pulses per revolution at a signal frequency response of 210 kHz, the 845H features state-of-the-art flex circuitry. The premier 845H is the industry standard Size 25 incremental encoder. With an electronic frequency response of 210 kHz, the 845H can provide 2,048 pulses per revolution at an operating speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute. Various output signal types are available in order to connect to a wide range of controllers. |
