42EF RightSight Photoelectric Sensor with Dual NPN and PNP Outputs

The popular family of Allen-Bradley RightSight photoelectric sensors is now even more versatile with the addition of DC models featuring both sink (NPN) and source (PNP) outputs in each unit. A single catalog number can now address the wiring requirements of both sourcing and sinking I/O modules, providing you with greater flexibility at the time of installation.

44R AccuSight™ Photoelectric Sensors

With its 27mm deep housing, AccuSight is an ideal solution for conveyor systems with shallow side rails. This sensor is designed for proper operation without requiring adjustment, to help ease installation and keep maintenance time low. To provide installation flexibility, an AccuSight photoelectric sensor can be mounted either by its industry-standard 18mm threaded nose or by mounting screws. Three high-visibility LED indicators provide a 360° view of sensor status. Other features include: Multiple sensing modes, Low-voltage 24VDC operation, Variety of connection types to suit multiple applications.

Lasersight™ 9000

Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley introduces a LaserSight to the industry standard Series 9000. This product is for tough sensing applications which require a longer range, when the environment is dusty or dirty, or when the object to be sensed is small. The maximum sensing distances are 39.6m (130ft) for the polarized retroreflective sensor and 304.8m (1000ft) for the transmitted beam. The Class II laser source provides a visible red beam for easy alignment even at these distances. It's just the right sensor when the application calls for precision, ease of alignment and maximum sensing range.

ClearSight™ 9000

For clear object detection, innovative optics make the ClearSight 9000 a clearly superior solution. Coaxial optics and circular polarization maximize the contrast achievable with clear objects, increasing reliability and productivity.

SmartSight 9000 DeviceNet Photoelectric Sensor

Rockwell Automation was the first manufac-turer to introduce a DeviceNet-compatible photoelectric sensor when it launched the DeviceNet 9000. Today, history is again being made with the introduction of the first "self-teach" photoelectric sensor for DeviceNet. At the touch of a button, the new and enhanced SmartSight 9000 photoelectric sensor will learn the application being presented to it. This operation may also be activated over the network. Other notable features include: Selectable strobing or COS operating modes, Advanced diagnostics such as "dirty lens" notification, Advanced logic functions such as on, off and one-shot time delays, Mechanical node address setting.

872C WorldProx Small Barrel Proximity Sensor

The 872C WorldProx family of inductive proximity sensors has expanded to include 6.5mm diameter models. Formerly part of the 871C line, these small-diameter sensors are ideal for applications where standard models are not feasible due to size constraints. The small-barrel WorldProx version offers several new and enhanced features, including: 360° LED visibility for easier setup and reduced troubleshooting time, Sensing distance on shielded models increased from 1.5mm to 2mm, Normally closed versions added to address a wider range of applications.

871F AC/DC Flat Pack Proximity Sensor

The new 871F AC/DC Flat Pack inductive proximity sensor is ideal for applications that require long-range metal sensing. These durable sensors feature a one-piece housing cover that provides protection from moisture, impact and abrasion, plus: 50mm shielded and 65mm unshielded sensing to suit more applications, Superior LED visibility for easier maintenance checks, Industry standard mounting pattern for easy retrofit, Quick disconnect, cable and conduit models for application flexibility, Full electrical protections for reduced downtime.

DeviceNet 871TM

A harsh environment sensor with an all stainless steel housing. The DeviceNet 871TM is easily the most advanced inductive proximity sensor in the field. NO/NC programmable over DeviceNet. Advanced diagnostics over the network, including: Coil operational, Target too close/too far/always in. Supports change-of-state and strobed I/O protocols, Configurable timer (ON-delay, OFF-delay/one-shot), Configurable counter, Motion detection diagnostic, Learn/teach mode.

871TM All Stainless Steel

For harsh or extremely demanding environments, the 871TM All Stainless Steel Proximity Sensor really shines. With a high-strength stainless steel face and barrel, this tough, compact sensor resists impact, abrasion and corrosion – to keep things moving where ordinary sensors grind to a halt.
