RSTrainer 2000 for RSLogix 500

This course covers the use of RSLogix 500 for ladder-logic development, documentation and troubleshooting. You'll learn to use the "relaxed" editor, online editing functions, trends, histograms and forcing, as well as how to use the database editors for easy and reusable documentation development. In addition, you'll learn to import and export both database (documentation) and ladder (program) files, and how to use the various troubleshooting, diagnostic, and reporting options that RSLogix 500 provides.
More than 30 multimedia lessons are included. Students navigate through the lessons using a simple point-and-click interface. A course Map and an Index are provided to allow direct access to specific lessons or topics. We've also included A Glossary of terms, and Interactive Practice and Check Knowledge exercises to provide students with an opportunity to test their knowledge.

This course covers the use of RSLogix 5. It is structured very much like RSTrainer 2000 for RSLogix 500 discussed above, but covers the expanded capabilities of RSLogix 5, including detailed coverage of I/O Configuration. You'll learn to use the "relaxed" editor, online editing functions, trends, histograms and forcing, as well as how to use the database editors for easy and reusable documentation development. In addition, you'll learn to import and export both database (documentation) and ladder (program) files, and how to use the various troubleshooting, diagnostic, and reporting options that RSLogix 5 provides.

RSTrainer 2000 Student Manager

RSTrainer 2000 Student Manager is a student tracking and reporting utility for use with RSTrainer 2000 multimedia training courses.

The Student Manager program can be used to manage any number of RSTrainer 2000 courses. For each course, RSTrainer 2000 student manager provides the following functions:

Manage Student Access - An administrative account built into the Student Manager allows the administrator to create individual student accounts for any number of students that will be accessing the program. Once a student account is created, the corresponding student can be granted or denied access to any of the RSTrainer 2000 courses for which it is configured.

Track Student Progress - For each student who has access to an RSTrainer 2000 course, the Student Manager maintains a record of their progress. This record includes the specific lesson(s) that they have viewed, their score on the "Check Knowledge" portion of the course, and an overall percentage of completion.

RSCompanion for SLC 500 and MicroLogix

RSCompanion is an interactive reference tool and programming aid for SLC500 and MicroLogix users. It provides a wealth of detailed reference information covering all SLC500 and MicroLogix processors and can be used in conjunction with Rockwell Software's RSLogix 500 ladder-logic editing software. Six major subject areas are addressed by RSCompanion:

Processor - Details the features of and differences between the SLC and Micrologix processors. RSCompanion uses the familiar RSLogix 500 project tree interface for easy navigation through this module. Processors covered include the SLC 5/ 01, SLC 5/ 02, SLC 5/ 03, SLC 5/ 04, SLC 5/ 05, MicroLogix 1000, MicroLogix 1200, and MicroLogix 1500 controllers.

Hardware - Interactive simulations, combined with the detailed reference information, enable quick controller and I/O diagnosis. The module also incorporates wizards, to ensure first-time operation with trouble-free configuration, and utilities, for fine-tuning and troubleshooting existing applications.

Wizards - Automates ladder logic production and documentation for specific applications. Accessed throughout the package and directly from the Application Wizards module, RSCompanion wizards are fully customized by the user and reduce costly installation and commissioning time by providing detailed connection diagrams, installation examples and application notes for immediate implementation. Included in the current SLC and MicroLogix RSCompanion are SLC and MicroLogix wizards for peer-to-peer communications and PID Control, and an SLC analog configuration and scaling wizard and a MicroLogix 1500 DAT wizard. Access the Application Wizards module and use a wizard to create your own program, ready to open directly into RSLogix 500 and download to a controller.
